1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") applies to the Daily Pilates mobile application for iOS and Android (the "App") and related online services operated in connection with the App (together, the "Service").
In this Policy, "Company," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of Daily Pilates. For privacy requests, contact us at [email protected]. Our website is https://pilates.relaxlio.com.
Our Terms of Use are available at https://pilates.relaxlio.com/terms/index.html.
2. Scope
This Policy describes how we process personal information when you download, install, register for, or use the App, contact support, or interact with our linked legal pages. It does not apply to third-party websites, stores, or services that we do not control (for example, the Apple App Store or Google Play), which have their own privacy practices.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information in three main ways: (a) information you provide; (b) information generated through your use of the Service; and (c) information from third parties (such as Apple, Google, Adjust, or payment platforms) when you choose to use their features or when those tools operate as part of the App.
3.1 Information you provide
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account and identity | Display name, email address, password (for email registration), authentication tokens from Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In |
| Onboarding and preferences | Gender, fitness goals, body preferences, fitness level, movement preferences, areas of focus or caution, diet and sleep preferences, daily routine, motivation answers, and name you enter in onboarding |
| Body metrics you enter | Age, height, current weight, goal weight, and derived values such as BMI or suggested weight change (used for plan personalization within the App) |
| Reminder preferences | Whether workout reminders are enabled and the preferred reminder time |
| Support communications | Messages you send to support, including related contact details |
Onboarding answers and body metrics are primarily stored on your device for personalization. Workout progress, subscription status, and account data may be synced with our servers when a session is active (including guest/anonymous sessions).
3.2 Information collected automatically
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Device and session | Device identifiers used to maintain a guest or authenticated session, app version, platform (iOS/Android), and technical logs needed to operate APIs (such as request timestamps and status codes) |
| Usage and progress | Plan day progress, workout completion records, duration, estimated calories or similar workout metrics calculated by the App, and feature flags related to your experience (for example, whether certain paywall screens have been shown) |
| Subscription status | Product identifiers, trial or subscription status, entitlement and expiry-related timestamps needed to unlock Premium content (purchase receipts/tokens are verified with our servers and/or the applicable store) |
| Attribution and measurement | Install and campaign attribution data, advertising identifiers where permitted (such as IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android), install referrer information, and product-event data (for example, onboarding milestones, paywall views, trial starts, and verified purchases). See Section 5. |
| Local media cache | Workout videos or related media may be temporarily cached on your device to improve playback performance |
3.3 Information from third parties
- Apple / Google (sign-in): When you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive identifiers and profile information those providers share with us (such as a name and email, subject to your settings with that provider).
- Apple App Store / Google Play (billing): When you purchase or restore a subscription, we receive purchase verification data (for example, transaction or purchase tokens and product identifiers) necessary to confirm entitlement. We do not receive your full payment card number from the stores.
- Adjust and related measurement partners: Our attribution SDK and related platform services may receive or generate install, campaign, and conversion measurement data as described in Section 5.
- Media delivery: Workout videos and related media may be delivered via content delivery infrastructure; standard technical connection data may be processed to serve media securely.
3.4 Information we do not currently collect
As of the date of this Policy, the App does not:
- Access your camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or precise location;
- Integrate with Apple Health / HealthKit or Google Health Connect;
- Display third-party in-app advertising networks or show ads inside the App;
- Use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or similar crash/analytics products as a live feature of the App.
4. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (including guest sessions, accounts, video playback, media caching, and progress sync);
- Personalize onboarding, plans, and content recommendations based on preferences and metrics you provide;
- Authenticate users and secure accounts;
- Process and verify subscriptions, trials, restores, and Premium entitlements;
- Schedule and deliver optional local workout reminders when you enable them;
- Measure marketing performance, attribute installs and conversions, and understand funnel events (see Section 5);
- Respond to support requests and communicate service-related notices;
- Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, and improve performance and content quality;
- Enforce our Terms of Use, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect legal rights;
- Comply with applicable laws, store policies, and lawful requests.
We do not use your onboarding health-related answers to provide medical diagnosis or treatment. See Section 14 and our Terms of Use for the health disclaimer.
5. Attribution, Analytics, and Advertising Measurement
To understand how users discover and use Daily Pilates, and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, we use attribution and measurement tools, including:
- Adjust (third-party attribution SDK); and
- First-party attribution events sent to our platform/backend services (for example, onboarding milestones, sign-in success, paywall interactions, trial starts, and verified purchases).
These tools may process device and advertising identifiers (where permitted by your device settings and applicable law), install referrer data, approximate technical device information, event names and related parameters (such as product id, paywall context, trial days, login method), timestamps, and purchase-related identifiers needed for conversion measurement and deduplication. Revenue amounts associated with verified purchases may be reported to measurement partners for attribution purposes.
Important: Daily Pilates does not currently show third-party advertisements inside the App. Attribution tools are used for marketing measurement, campaign optimization, and product analytics related to acquisition and conversion - not for serving in-app ads.
On iOS, Apple may require App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before certain tracking or cross-app measurement can use the advertising identifier. Where ATT applies, you can allow or deny tracking in the system prompt and later change this in iOS Settings. On Android, you may reset or limit your advertising ID in device settings where the operating system provides that control.
Adjust processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can learn more about Adjust at https://www.adjust.com/terms/privacy-policy/.
6. Legal Bases (EEA/UK and Similar Jurisdictions)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another region that requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract: Processing necessary to provide the Service you request (account, workouts, subscription verification, reminders you enable);
- Legitimate interests: Improving the Service, securing systems, preventing abuse, measuring marketing performance, and understanding feature usage, balanced against your rights;
- Consent: Where required (for example, certain optional notifications, App Tracking Transparency / advertising-identifier tracking, or other non-essential measurement), which you may withdraw at any time through device settings or by contacting us;
- Legal obligation: Where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.
Where we process special-category or sensitive information under applicable law (for example, certain health-related inferences from fitness preferences), we do so only as necessary to provide the Service you request, with your consent where required, or as otherwise permitted by law.
7. How We Share Information
We may share personal information with:
- Service providers / processors that help us host APIs, store and deliver media, authenticate users, verify purchases, provide infrastructure, and measure attribution, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations;
- Platform providers such as Apple and Google for sign-in, distribution, and in-app purchases;
- Attribution / measurement partners such as Adjust and our platform attribution services;
- Professional advisors (legal, accounting) where needed;
- Authorities when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information as "sale" is commonly understood (exchanging personal information for money). We do not operate an in-app ad network. Certain measurement activity involving advertising identifiers may be treated as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some U.S. state laws; where those laws apply, see Section 19 and contact us to exercise available opt-out rights.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third parties that may process data on our behalf or independently when you interact with their platforms. Key categories include:
| Provider / category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store, StoreKit) | Authentication, app distribution, subscription billing and restore |
| Google (Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing) | Authentication, app distribution, subscription billing and restore |
| Adjust | Install and conversion attribution, marketing measurement, campaign performance |
| Backend / platform API providers | Account, session, entitlement, progress synchronization, and first-party attribution events |
| Cloud media / object storage & CDN | Hosting and delivery of workout videos and related media assets |
Your use of Apple, Google, or Adjust services is also governed by their respective privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review them.
9. International Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your country of residence, including where our servers, service providers, media infrastructure, or attribution partners are located. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) and take steps designed to protect your information in accordance with this Policy.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including:
- While your account or device session remains active;
- For as long as needed to provide Premium entitlements and resolve billing or restore issues;
- For attribution and fraud-prevention records for a period consistent with measurement and legal needs;
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, or security requirements;
- For a limited period in backups after deletion, until those backups are rotated in the ordinary course.
Some onboarding answers and preferences may be stored locally on your device and/or synced with our servers depending on feature configuration. Workout progress and subscription status may be stored on our servers to enable continuity when you are signed in or when sync is enabled. Cached media files are stored temporarily on your device and may be cleared when you uninstall the App or when the cache is purged.
When you delete your account through the App (where available) or via a verified request to us, we will delete or anonymize associated personal account data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted by law. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a store subscription; manage cancellations in Apple or Google account settings. Local workout history may remain on the device unless cleared by uninstalling the App or as otherwise described in the product.
11. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) for API communications, access controls, and least-privilege practices for service operations. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your device and account credentials secure and for notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
12. Your Rights and Choices
12.1 In-App and device choices
- Update certain profile or preference information within the App where editing is available;
- Enable or disable workout reminders in the App and manage notification permissions in device settings;
- On iOS, manage App Tracking / personalized ads settings; on Android, reset or limit your advertising ID where available;
- Sign out, use Restore Purchase, or request account deletion where those features are provided;
- Cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings (deleting the App does not cancel a subscription).
12.2 Privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information; to receive a portable copy; and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request" and sufficient information for us to verify your identity and locate your data. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
12.3 California and similar U.S. state rights
If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have rights to know/access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain sharing or "sale" of personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising where applicable. We do not sell personal information for money. To submit a request or opt-out request, contact us as described above. You will not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.
13. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 16 and older (or older if required in your country). The App's age selection begins at 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the applicable digital-consent age).
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact [email protected]. We will take steps to delete such information as required by law.
14. Health and Fitness Information
Daily Pilates is a fitness and wellness App. Information you enter about your body, goals, lifestyle, and workout history is used to personalize content and track progress - not to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The Service is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new exercise program.
We do not currently read data from HealthKit, Health Connect, or similar health platforms. Calories and similar workout metrics shown in the App are estimates generated by the App, not clinical measurements.
15. Permissions
Depending on your device and operating system, the App may request or rely on:
- Internet access - required to load content, authenticate, sync progress, verify purchases, and send measurement events;
- Notifications - optional; used for local workout reminders when you enable them. These are scheduled on your device and are not remote push messages from a cloud messaging service. You can deny or later disable notifications in system settings;
- App Tracking / advertising identifier (where applicable) - used for marketing attribution and measurement as described in Section 5. You may deny or later change this permission in system settings;
- Boot / background scheduling (Android) - used so local reminders can be rescheduled after device reboot where the operating system allows it.
The App does not require camera, microphone, location, or photo-library permissions for its core workout experience.
16. Do Not Track / Advertising
The App does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals (which primarily apply to web browsers). We do not operate third-party ad networks inside the App at this time. We do use attribution and measurement technologies for marketing performance as described in Section 5. If we introduce in-app advertising or additional tracking technologies in the future, we will update this Policy and provide required disclosures (including Apple App Tracking Transparency prompts where applicable).
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or our practices. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page and may also be communicated in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy where permitted by law; where consent is required, we will request it.
18. Contact Us

19. Region-Specific Notices
19.1 European Economic Area and United Kingdom
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the Company acts as controller for personal data processed in connection with the App, except where a third party (such as Apple, Google, or Adjust) acts as an independent controller for its own services. You may contact us to exercise your rights described in Section 12. If you have an unresolved concern, you may lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
19.2 United States (including California)
Categories of personal information we collect are described in Section 3 and generally include identifiers, commercial subscription information, internet/technical activity, advertising/measurement identifiers where permitted, and fitness-related inferences derived from information you provide. We collect this information for the business purposes described in Sections 4 and 5. We do not sell personal information for money. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification.
19.3 App Store disclosures
Apple and Google may display privacy "nutrition labels" or data-safety forms based on developer declarations. Those store disclosures are intended to summarize practices and should be read together with this Policy, which is the controlling description of our practices. Relevant data types for store labels may include Purchases, Identifiers (including Device ID and Advertising Data where applicable), Usage Data, and other data linked to you as described above.
